ASNA AND PRANAYAMA

ASANA is originated from animals’ natural movements and postures and these postures are named after the animals such as cat, deer, tiger, rabbit. Using examples from the nature, those postures describe animals’ self-heal.

Asana practice is beneficial for muscles, joint, circulatory system, nerve system, immune system as well as mind, spirit and chakras (one of the sevencentres of energy in the human body). This is the practice for spirit which strengthens and balances the nerve system and keep your metal stability. The effects of this practice is to help you feel satisfied, comfortable, relaxed, free and peaceful inside.

Breathing plays an important part in Asana. Combining with movements, suitable deep breath helps blood circulation and fluid exchange in your body. Breathing practice increases muscles relaxation considerably by focusing on the parts with tension and relaxing those parts intentionaly when breathing out.

PRANAYAMA (Breath control): is the technique to control and adjust breath in purpose. Prana is universal energy, or energy made by the Universe which is saved and transformed. This is the basic element of life and consciousness. Prana is found in food, so having a healthy vegetarian diet is important.
